More Info on Platinum Business FreedomPass Credit Card |
|||
This credit card is meant for business use and is good for those who can benefit from the travel rewards it offers. This card offers an attractive 0% annual percentage rate on purchases for the first twelve months. That makes it a great card for anyone who might not be paying off their entire month's charges each month. After the first year however, the interest rate goes up to between 8.99% and 15.24%. Not paying off the entire balance each month after the initial year could be quite expensive. This rate is determined by your credit rating and the credit limit on your card. The rewards this card offers are travel points. Points are accumulated based on your purchases on the FreedomPass credit card and can be redeemed for such travel necessities as hotel accommodations, car rentals, cruise travel, and tours. You can even use these rewards through many online travel sites. Redeeming points for credit to your credit card account can be done. 7500 reward points equal a credit of $100. When you purchase eligible travel using your FreedomPass credit card, you then redeem points that will show up on your statement as a credit. First time members of this card program are eligible to a bonus welcome offer of 5,000 reward points. Balance transfers can be made to this card at an APR of 7.99% for the life of that balance as long as the transfer is made within the first year. After that, balance transfers are at the regular rate of interest. Cash advances are expensive on this card, as is usual on a business card. 19.99% is the APR for such advances. You will also be charged a cash advance fee on this card of 3% of the transaction amount. There is a minimum of $5 for such advance fees and there is no maximum, making cash advances very expensive. There is no yearly fee for this card. There are a few other charges that apply though and you should be aware of them. There is a late payment fee of $19 on a balance of less than $400. If you pay late on a balance of $400 or more, you will be charged a late payment fee of $38. As with most cards, the initial low introductory rates will be terminated if you make late payments. This is a good credit card for business expenses as it has low fees and also provides rewards. Any business users who regularly travel will find it a very useful card. |
